The Bugatti Veyron 16.4

Considering its top speed of 253 miles per hour, the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 is not going to give golfers any excuse for showing up late for a tee time. It will, however, turn plenty of heads on its way to the course. With sleek lines and sophisticated technology, the Veyron is the fastest and most expensive production car ever built. It comes equipped with a quad-turbocharged W-16 racing engine, complemented by an awesome array of high tech components, including a seven speed twin-clutch gearbox, special cooling systems and all wheel drive. Revolutionary engineering innovations position the car for every driving condition imaginable. At high speeds the car automatically lowers its ride height and a small rear spoiler deploys from the back for increased stability.

Inside the sexy curves, the cockpit features an ergonomically designed sports seat and a well positioned instrument panel. The high beltline of the car affords an unobstructed view of the road—a must as it accelerates from 0-60 mph in 2.9 seconds. It may not be necessary to move quite that fast to put in an order. Though Bugatti plans to produce only 50 Veyrons a year, each one sports a price tag of $1,250,000.
