Cleveland Golf Introduces New W-Series Line
HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA... Cleveland Golf is proud to introduce their latest W-Series line of women's equipment. This new W-Series HiBORE product line incorporates all of the same benefits as the men's lines, but these clubs have been specifically designed for women.W-Series HiBORE XL
This new driver utilizes Distance Driven Geometry™ by lowering the crown which, in turn, lowers the center of gravity (CG) to produce the only facecentered sweet spot in golf. This latest driver offers a new concept in golf known as Performance (FFP) which is driven by a face-centered sweet spot and a more efficient energy transfer to the ball. The W-Series HiBORE XL's larger face has also allowed its sweet spot to be expanded, while its larger chassis has increased moment of inertia (MOI) by 15% over the original W-Series HiBORE. This higher MOI has given this new driver even greater resistance to twisting on mis-hits, thus increasing stability and forgiveness on contact. Available in either 11.5 or 16 degrees of loft, these W-Series HiBORE XL drivers are currently available to ship and carry an MSRP of $390.
W-Series HiBORE Fairway Woods
Developed with the same Distance Driven Geometry as the W-Series HiBORE XL driver, these revolutionary new woods feature a higher MOI than any other fairway woods that Cleveland Golf has ever produced. Their larger face area combined with the face-centered performance of these woods make them as forgiving as they are stable for players of any ability. These new fairway woods boast a 10% larger face area than the W-Series Launcher® Steel model, but their inverted crown design has allowed engineers at Cleveland Golf to create a clubhead that is actually smaller than conventionally shaped fairway woods. This more efficient geometry helps to allow more weight to be moved to the rear outer perimeter of the clubhead to help off-center hits to perform nearly as well as perfect shots. Available in lofts of 18.5, 20 and 22 degrees, the W-Series HiBORE fairway woods are currently available to ship and carry an MSRP of $275.
W-Series HiBORE Hybrid
Developed with Distance Driven Geometry, these latest hybrid clubs feature a lower and deeper CG compared to other hybrids. The W-Series HiBORE Hybrid's inverted crown design combined with its unique Thin Crown Technology™ has allowed designers at Cleveland Golf to relocate 15% more discretionary weight to the rear skirt of the clubhead. This repositioning of weight to the outer rear perimeter has increased MOI significantly, thus making it easier for players of all levels to get the ball airborne more easily. The clubs tour-inspired face profile has also given it a larger face area and sweet spot , which will lead to added confidence at address. Available in lofts of 22, 25, 28 and 31 degrees, these W-Series HiBORE Hybrid clubs are currently available to ship and carry an MSRP of $235.
W-Series HiBORE Irons
These revolutionary irons were developed with the same Distance driven Geometry as the HiBORE family of woods. The W-Series HiBORE Irons give players of all abilities the benefits of hybrid clubs combined with the versatility and accuracy of traditional irons. HiBORE technology allows these irons to be incorporated with an inverted crown and full hollow construction throughout the set. With a CG six times deeper than traditional irons, these new irons are the most forgiving and longest irons Cleveland Golf has ever designed. W-Series 588 RS Wedge
Designed specifically for players who struggle escaping from bunkers, this new wedge combines an extra large recovery sole (RS) with an extremely low CG to help launch sand shots high and soft from all types of lies in the bunker. The W-Series 588 RS wedge's deep cavity back helps absorb unwanted vibration while also keeping unnecessary weight away from the face of the clubhead. Available only in a 60 degree loft, these W-Series 588 RS wedges are currently available to ship and carry an MSRP of $128 (graphite) and $119 (steel).
