Mahogany Run
As cliffhangers go, it is tough to beat the George and Tom Fazio designed Mahogany Run in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Although the course first garnered widespread acclaim two decades ago, a series of hurricanes in the 1990s inflicted damage to it, causing an exciting destination to slip below the radar of many golfers. But Mahogany Run was recently bought by the Ginn Company, which plans renovations to restore its reputation as one of the best thrill rides in the Caribbean.
